Chen Jiru

Chén Jìrú ; ca. 1558-1639 was a and calligrapher during the Ming Dynasty .

Chen was born in Shanghai in the Songjiang province . His style name was 'Zhong Chun' and his sobriquet was 'Mi Gong'. Chen's calligraphy followed the style of Su Shi and Mi Fu. Chen also painted landscapes and ink plums with an elegant atmosphere.
